Hi,

as far as I know the early MIT DS-1 pedals are identical to the old MIJ DS-1 pedals.

I�ve got the opportunity now to get a taiwanese DS-1 from 1993 for little money. Is the sound of this pedal really identical to the MIJ version?

Hi Marco, there was a thread on here not to long ago discussing this. I'm sorry I couldn't find it to redirect you. My understanding is they are the same electronically, so they should sound the same. The value of a MIJ will be higher most likely. Maybe someone else out there can direct you to that post.

they are the same but different, i don't think there should be much between an early mit vs an older mij
