Hi all,
I am a newcomer here, but have been lurking for quite awhile. I have been playing music for 15/18 of my years and love it. I am actually a piano player (a yamaha electric acoustic cp-60m with real strings but piezo pickups on them)...
So, I am looking for anyone that has or knows of a VB-2 vibrato pedal in used, playable condition. I am specifically looking one that is not in collectable, mint, w/box or manuals condition...because I want to play it and don't want to go bankrupt. I know that a few people here have them tucked away in their boxes, but I was wondering if anyone has an extra or one that they are looking to sell in a condition that commands a reasonable price. I know they are rare, and expensive even in this condition...but I basically don't want to pay for a spotless one in a box.

Welcome to the forum from Australia.
I think the BYOC build Your Own Clone people have a VB-2 clone kit.
Maybe Jack can chime in here.
BYOC have a web link as well.

Honestly, I have had one byoc kit that has gone bad...and I just want reliable which is why I'm looking for the genuine article. I know it could be quite a search to find one that isn't inticing to collectors at all, but that's what I'm searching for. I love my DC-2 run with a piano and I think that the others that would be great are the vb-2, pq-3b, sp-1, sg-1, and hf-2...which I know are not necessarily the most common  ...but yeah.
The vb-2 is at the top of the list simply because the only effect I have that comes close is tremelo and I don't like it.

yeah, unfortunately it doesn't look like he is checking back on the forum anymore...and I tried emailing him and got no response. That could have really worked out, but maybe he'll check back. |

The BYOC VB2 clone is on hold, guess it still had a few bugs in it |
