The DOD Octoplus is pretty cool. I have two of them, and with a compressor in front (like your Soul Preacher  ) they track really well. I have the old 70's Soul Preacher, and it is surprisingly quiet for an EH pedal.
I know I'm not helping, but maybe by being a cheerleader I can help you sell trade-off some pedals! 
You should mention the DOD is the only octave (that I know of) with a tone control! |
