Is it really worth that much?... and the seller claims working WH-1s sell for near $1000. Really?

The vintage ones go for $1000 or there abouts. Not sure how to tell if this one really is vintage...

i had been in contact with jam industries, canadian distributor for digitech products. I used to get the odd side panel for a digitech whammy II etc.

I asked them if they have parts for the wh1 and they say they got absolutely none.

I took my wh1 apart and it is one solid circuit board. if the main chip is gonzo, the pedal is useless - otherwise, apart from debugging chips, there is nothing to fix like a good old boss pedal.

"vintage" LOL 1990s go from 375 to 800 depending on how aggressive the final bidder put their "max price" at to snipe them. Typcial, easy to have price is between 475 and 600.

i've had two of these and they are just great!
