| Too none of the stuff that may have been used on Iron Butterfly records is for sale. I like Iron Butterfly, but its one of those from either the "This guy is telling the truth." or "This guy is picking an obscure reference to make it sound like the truth." file. |

Ended going for a fair price, I thought (for the buyer)
The GE-7 looks like MIJ .(going from the DC socket). MZ-2s usually fetch a bit. The others are all in good to great condition What do you guys think? Good price or too much? |

Hi Stratman As far as Aust$ prices go, it seemed to be a reasonable deal. I know the Metalizer is in far better condition that how mine ended up. Mine was in Mint-y condition till I lent it out for a month, it came back looking like it had been in a cement mixer. The paintwork on the MZ-2 seems to be very poor I have seen many that look like mine, the paint chips off so easily.
HINT Try running an MZ-2 with low volts from a variable power supply, for some wierd robitic sounds. try around 6 to 8 volts like a flat battery Just remember, the MZ-2 EATS BATTERIES like there's no tomorrow.
Overall the pedals are in pretty good contition.
Did you see the BIN $50 SD-1 this morning? It went off, in like a few minutes.

Damn! Should have tried for those... I'm after a MIJ GE-7 and the OS-2 would come in handy. Could have probably sold the others locally or picked the better ones (compared to my own) for myself...
Thanks for the tip Dr Bob!
I replied to your email too... now where's those pics!!!!
By the way, my sense of humour's pretty good, and I like you posts! Never take any offence. And always worth the read. Although, I reckon you've got a pretty huge sense of humour yourself. |
