I'm looking for a pedal that would allow me to fade in or out a processed signal with a dry signal - you know, go from a dry sound to perhaps and increasingly flanged sound (or whatever effect I choose to run through it).
I'm imagining something akin to a wah pedal or a volume pedal only the pot is functioning as a blend knob, adding in an effect running through a loop or something.
If something like this doesn't exist, would it be difficult to build?
I've heard plenty of cool songs where the guitar transitions from a dry signal to a processed signal (or vice versa) and really like it. (Listen to how the guitar changes from the beginning to the end of the first verse to "Lighting Crashes" by Live for an example of what I'm talking about.
