As you might have noticed the auction didn't run the whole 7 days, but was ended early after about 4 days. I watched the auction so I was pretty surprised to suddenly find the item in ended auctions. I think the high bidder at the end time got in contact with the seller to do the deal partially outside of eBay, to save some fees. Happens from time to time, and when you are after the item you could get quite angry then. It's just not fair to the other eBayers to end an auction early. |

It's also against ebay rules to do any outside-dealings.. then there's also no recourse if something goes wrong.
but that's a crazy price. I'm sure the seller got more than that! |

It explains a lot, but normaly I see '0 bids' and '1 euro' when an auction has ended sooner. So that's why I was confused. |

Evilbay has gone so overboard with their privacy policy, lord help us all if someone is offended by the seller choosing to express his freedom and right to just "end the item early and do an off-ebay deal" to save himself on eBay and paypal fees! |
