Anyone using this with Boss pedals? ACA and PSA? What do you think? Alternatives on a small budget? Thanks! |

| I use one to power 5 Boss PSA pedals, a Morley wah, 3 Ibanez pedals, and a few other brands. I've never had any problems or noise. I highly suggest it, especially because of the price and the fact that it's so small. |

So far so good. A couple of nods for some ACA's and it seems like a worthy piece of gear to add. I have been using a combo of old/ misc adapters and batteries. The price is nice on the Spots and it would def' clean up the board a bit. |

i use a one spot. both ACA and PSA on the same chain. works great.
note: you will hear the clock of time effects ticking (flanger, chorus) if you have an OD/Dist on and it's placed after the time effect while using the same one spot. |

That scared me... I was thinking on buying a diago power supply but now I don't know if I should stick to my big and heavy Harley Benton PWS... |

Thanks for all the replies. I only have about 5-6 pedals on the board at one time and am now thinking that maybe the 1-Spot will be a bit overkill power wise. Add in the possible tick and burn-out issues and I might just go a dif' route.
4 of the 5 Boss pedals on there are ACA.

I use one on my test board and love it. I have a decent DC Brick I use on my main board.
Never had an issue with the 1-spot, and it's so convenient.
Really, if you're worried about power to the point you want to spend more than a 1-spot costs, save up and get a Pedal Power 2 or a Juice Box. I think that this is the sort of thing where it makes sense financially and functionally to go for one end of the spectrum or the other, or in my case... both. |

Update.....The link Laurie supplied proved very informative. Taking a nod from the ACA/PSA debate article from the link I dug out and repaired a leftover daisy chain I had from a Danelectro mini pedal board. Using the Dano DA-1 adapter and the daisy chain I was able to power all my pedals up with no issues. I had previously written off using the Dano' because I had only been trying to power ACA Boss pedals with it. Introducing a PSA pedal into the chain as the article suggests worked like a charm. Now everything lights up very brightly and sounds good. No clock issues either which is nice, though I did experience it when adding a BYOC Phase 90 clone in the mix. Not a problem though as it was bumped off the board recently by a PH-2 (MIJ).
The Dano specs out at 200mA so I am guessing that a burnout from a surge (from other article) would be less likely?
Thanks for all replies!
