A guy on the Seymour Duncan forum posted to ask for info on some stompboxes. He arrived at work this morning to find someone had dropped these off on his desk for him.

I'm assuming the one on the left is a DM-2 in Elephant's clothing.

Man, I wish people around here would start dropping DM-2's on MY desk.

Hi Rich_S
Nice...
Your friend should count himself lucky.
Tell him I love old compressors.

Not to mention that the OLD DOD pedal, still has its battery cover attached.

The Old DOD battery covers go missing more times, that dissidents in China.

And the Elephant pedal... love the name..

Regards Dr. Bob

Well, further analysis by the stompbox gurus over at the SDF has resulted in the conclusions that 1) it's DM-3 without the "dry" output jack, and 2) there aren't any more of them for sale in the world. People are scouring eBay for Elephant pedals as we speak. The cat's out of the bag.

I assume it's called "Elephant" because an elephant never forgets. Though in this case "never" means 300 mS.

The knob configuration is reminiscent of a RAK DL-1, and the rubber pad & logo looks a little like a Maxx RD-80 (thanks to DiscoFreq's FX site).
I haven't seen a pedal before that had no Google links at all, that's one rare beast. Is it really an Elephant, or is it just a sticker covering another logo? (not that there's any info on a 'Super Delay SDM-6 either..)
It must have been like discovering a new species in the rainforest.

Edit>> Please don't peel the sticker off to check, not that you would anyway
