A tap tempo function. ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT.
Time the ON beat (down strums) to the left and the OFF beat (up strumms) to right. Depending on your style of music of course.
Now that would make for an interesting live-setup rythm section!
This ONE pedal could start a whole book for band managers everywhere
"How to make your bad guitarist sound better live!" |

| Being a drummer (first and foremost) I think that would be an extremely hard pedal to use in a live situation. it might be good for the studio, but not for live work. with that being said i firmly believe that if you can't pull it off live than you shouldn't do it at all. but that's me. but for practice it would be a good tool idea. good thinking Makol! |

..thx dude...i was thinking of about it for a long time cuz it's quite annoying to take off my hands from my guitar and press my drum machine for it to stop then resume again....
...most of the time i use the built-in drum machine on my zoom fx and activate/deactivate it using my toe--quite tricky .... |

| Another problem with a stompbox drum machine would be that it is amplified through the guitar amp and it gets distorted (unless you use a clean sound) and also affected by other effects in the chain. |

how about a PN-20 OR TR-20 or....
TVP-20 (tremolo, vibrato, pan)
1. tap tempo(all standard intervals)+ manual rates
2. preset locations
3. stereo inputs/outputs
4. spdif out
5. some pretty syncronized lights on the front:)
6. wave shapes: triange, square, sine
7. a mix knob and a wave shape/blend knob, maybe a wave type knob
8. headphone out
9. cool metalic green surf paint
10. expression pedal input
11. mode knob (for tremolo, vibrato, and pan)
12. and blend knob to inlude a mix of tremolo, vibrato, pan
13. a peak indicator (like the ce-20)

Wow, Briggs! That would be sweeeeeet.
Add a remote switch for the "rise" function" of the VB2 as well. I guess with an added Blend knob it would serve as a chorus too, but I could do without it anyway.
Now, how do we get the nice people at Boss to indulge us....? |

| that dark, detuned sound you get on the PS-5, a pedal that could do that would be brilliant |

Line6 has a model called insane that isn't modelled on any other amp or effect. It produces some sort of gargling effect and I'd love to get a similar sound from a Boss pedal. |

| thats a good idea, but i think thats where boss has gone wrong with the past few pedals (PS-5, AW-3) you can get some great sounds out of these but there is just too much stuff. and for some reason it turns a lot of people off if there is too many features on a pedal. |

I like the additional features of Boss pedals. But the TR-2 Tremolo seems very simple. So I thought on a new Tremolo.
