Hi I would like to connect my guitar to 2 amps at the same time and have the possibility to switch one or both signals off and on, I've been looking at the Boss AB-2 but from what I understand it only allows one signal path out at a time. If that's the case can anyone help me find the product that will do the job for me?

thanks

Yeah, the Boss AB pedal has only one footswitch to toggle between the EITHER of the two amps - You can't choose both at once.

I don't think there is a Boss pedal that will do that job. You need an ABY pedal. They have one input, two outputs, and TWO footswitches. This way, you can select Amp A, Amp B or both amps (i.e. a y-splitter).

There are lots of companies that make ABY pedals - Radial do a nice cheap one (but without LEDS):

WOBO also do one WITH LEDS:

LS-2 is a excellent pedal..i have mine nearly 10 years and it's great and a fulltimer on my 'board...lots of different switching options and mine survived a EV eliminator 15" speaker cabinet landing on it with minimal damage(broken switch)and a slight crack to the top....the EV take two people to lift it onto the speaker pole and i'm sure any other non boss pedal would not of survived the impact....so the LS-2 gets a big.. from me....

Yes
I can recommend the Morley. I use it for the same purpose as you will do. It's not noisy and the price is reasonable. Definatly a very good pedal for the job!

The LS-2 is a great pedal, but it can't do this.
