I got that pedal too. In fact I have most of the twin pedals. It is a killer pedal and I don't have anything bad to say about it. I love that sub octave feature. |

They discontinued the me-20 so Im sure there will be something there to replace it. Cant wait to see what it is, because I loved the little me-20 but the fact that you couldnt use reverb and delay at the same time was a deal killer for me, hope they get that problem fixed.

Hi exodia333 A GR-300 That would be an interesting pedal, it would probably have to be in a dual pedal format. Were you thinking it would also have the 24 Pin Connector, or the newer 13 Pin one, or both?
Where have you played one? And with which of the guitar controllers?
I thought I would let you know, that Dr. B owns a one of the GR-300's, and it's in Minty fresh condition, still has the protective sheet over the front panel, box & manual as well.
Yes it sounds great, but has a limited pallet of settings, & it's that far back in Roland's history, it has no MIDI. Missed the MIDI train by one year, as MIDI was released in about 1981, if I remember correctly.
The newer, but now aging Roland GR-20 Guitar synth is a very nice piece of gear. But probably needs some updating.
Regards Dr. Bob |
