I guess the title says it all, what else do you collect besides pedals For me, I collect a lot of stuff from one of my favourite bassplayers, Billy Sheehan. That guy has done so much, bands like Talas, Dave Lee Roth, Mr. Big, Niacin, he released 2 solo albums and numerous instruction videos, played on zillions of other artists albums, appeared in a gazillion magazines, etc... My collection keeps growing, latest addition is a 1986(!) guitarplayer magazine with Billy on the cover having just won the '86 poll awards for best rock bassplayer. How's that for history! Another cool thing about 20+ years old mags are the ads for then new equipment, haha. Some of that stuff doesn't even exist anymore, like Kramer guitars and the Marshall studio 15 amp There's also an ad from Boss with a DD-2, DM-2, CE-3, SD-1 and CS-2 on how to dial in Andy Summers' sound on "every breath you take".
On a sidenote, did you ever wonder about the fact why people want to collect something in the first place? I guess it's in our nature to possess stuff even if we never use it, maybe the thought of having it around is enough..... |

I collect electric guitars, not vintage (too much money). But I like to have a good number of different ones around... I also collect LPs, I guess I have 3-4000, mostly rock and blues. I have always collected something, collecting is a male instinct (my wife says...)

Pro audio gear... I have (literally) tons of the stuff from closed down clubs, defunkt bands, etc. It all needs a bit of TLC, but tinkering with electronics is my hobby, so, no problem
I keep threatening to start a DJ or sound production company....

I collect dust!
but seriously, there are a few bands whose stuff I collect, mostly 'obscure' bands like Voivod... I used to collect Iron Maiden stuff, but quickly realized I didn't have enough money. and I used to collect comics, but these days I'm down to just the DC/Vertigo series 'Hellblazer' (c.f. the 'Constantine' movie). |

| New audio gear for home studio. I haven't actually played my guitar for a couple months.. busy readying myself for MCSA certification but I love gear nonetheless. UA is on the horizon.. |

I guess the only other things I have collections of are CDs...not sure how many, definitely over 5,000 of those, probably closer to 10,000 although it wouldn't surprise me if I had that many either...I've been on this weird kick for the last year or so on eBay of bidding/buying some of the obscure, rare (but not expensive rare, just a weird little band or label rare), or hard-to-find CDs I ALREADY OWN, just to get back-up copies of them. Maybe I should get with the times and download my some CDs onto my computer, but surprisingly I don't have any music or music players on my computer cause I feel like players tend to have too many things spinning at the same time on the computer...okay, maybe I'm a weirdo, but that's pretty well established here anyways....
I also have a DVD collection, proabably about 300-400, though add an extra 50 if you count the XXX ones
And I guess I sort of collect tshirts...I mean I just see a cool shirt, and I gotta rock that sh!t...so I currently could probably go about 6 months wearing a different tshirt everyday...
And you guys just thought I had a Telecaster problem |

I've got basically everything Douglas Adams has ever done, all his books, television series, radio series on cd and cassette, scripts to radio series and attempts at videogames...
But music wise I do have a fender preference, with amplification, guitars, leads and of course a little clothing. |
