How about a DC-2's stereo outputs into the DD-20 stereo inputs and then going all stereo into Fender 20 watt all tube amps? Gotta love the pan-mode on the DD-20...
I just got my DD-20 last week, so I'm a little excited.

| In some songs I play octaves and uses all my effects, kind of.. phaser, chorus, dist, tremolo and this gives you a strange kind of sound.. like a fat mass of different sounds that're trying to look thru.. |

well, its been a while since the last one so heres some new awesome duos ive been tinkering with
CE-5 into a PH-1r...both set at about 12 oclock across the board provides great modulation
BD-2 into a OD-2...i like this better than a SD-1 into a BD-2 as there seems to be a tad more gain
DS-1 into a DS-1... both set moderately to avoid mud. surprisingly it sounds good |

| I have BD2, MT2 & DS1, all modded. BD2 will be on all the time. If i playing a rhythm, i'll on the MT2. If im playing lead, i'll on the DS1 for a a full saturated tone. |

What a great trick & combination do you have the DC-3 after the CE-2
I'm a big fan of the CE-2's
Try placing two in parallel into a small mixer, & then take the mixed out to you amp - set the chorus's slightly differently as in a Duo-Chorus.
I am waiting for my other CE-2 to arrive to do a Tri-Chorus mix with only the CE-2's
Sorry guys did I break the tread? As that makes it THREE (3) pedals ----- and a mixer.

What a GREAT Thread 
I noticed that you started to write down the order that you placed them in, in series.
If you have a small mixer try setting them up in parallel, and mixing the levels in & out,
we always seem to place our pedals in series, so it can make for some refreshing new sounds.
Can you other guys, please post the order that you have the pedals in, and perhaps the settings you used.

| i have a CE-2 in my effect loop and i turned on my HF-2 in front the other day and the tone was so thick and lucious!! prob too thick cos the guitar sounds a bit wimpy when back to clean but ^^^^ i see what you mean about series and parallel! |

I like to run a DD-5 into a DSD-2. I like to experiment with noises, so for that I tend to mess with the DD-5's time knob for that digital break-up sound, then shift that in all kinds of directions with the DSD-2.
If I have enough room on my board, I use a BF-2 and an HF-2. What order do you suggest they go in? Usually, I put the BF-2 first since it's the primary flanger, and when I thought it out, I'd rather not have the primary flanger modulating an already-flanged sound. I made have just made that up, but it makes sense to me.
Playing in a loud music store for about 20 minutes at a time, my favorite OD/Dist combo is SD-1 > GE-7. I still want to try an SD-2. |

That gives me the mid boost around 800Hz & the level just a tad above unity (middle setting)
I shift the position of the sad face up or down a bit depending on the venue.
I see too many of these set to a DEEP V, cos the younger guys think that, that's how they get the scooped metal sound.

DS-1 ==>into OD-3
sounds crunchy yet creamy
keeps all the low end present in your signal
very loud
lots of sustain
lots of gain
but you can still hear every note and every volume/pickup change in your guitar
great to get harmonics
BUT very noisy... just have to turn off the DS-1 when doing silent parts |

I don't remember the settings, but I assure you I have plenty of mids in my sound. I like to use the GE-7 to boost high-mids and some lows. I don't have one, but some day I'll get around to buying one. I probably had the SD-1 on a high-gain setting as well. |
