I just broke the distortion potentiometer in my MIJ HM-2 !!!
I have a dead CS-3 but the most near pot that it use are the sustain and tone ( 20K for both)
What kind of behavior will occurs if I replace Dist pot ( 10k on HM-2) for one of 20K from Cs-3? |

Think it will give you more gain if you don't like it, you could always strap a 22k resistor across the pot to make it 10k5 |

The attack potentiometer of CS-3 is 250kC should be a better choise.
The distortion potentiometer in HM-2 is 250kD. |

I must be missing something, couldn't find what the D or G is. If its not audio, reverse-audio, or linear, what else is there? |

U right cctsim I was confused with VR 1!! Im working on changing pots but I guess will obtain a reverse Distor effect, I mean when Im on zero pot position distortion will be Full and when pot position all the way up, distortion will be zero...Is it right???
How components need to change to use with PSA?? Will R2 and D1 need to be jumpered? |

Yes, R2 and D1 need to be removed and jumpered or alternatively you run HM2 with a newer pedal that runs with a PSA. |

Missed the small lettering the first time... So the only difference between K,A,D,G is the degree of taper, makes sense now |
