juz need some help with my EHX Small Clone and hopeing some "experts" out there can help me out wif this... whilst looking ard ebay, i noticed tt most Small Clones sold have "Made In USA" printed at the bottom of the pedal.. i was looking at mine and saw thete mine din hv one... so does dis mean tt my Small Clone is a Russian-made one? but i thot the Russian-made EHX pedals (Small Stone and Big Muff) were all of different designs... any1 there to explain to me??
There may be some differences between the re-issued EHX pedals and the originals, is yours a re-issue or original? Also, it wouldn't suprise me if they added Made In USA later just to help clarify between the USA made and Russian made models, as if the different colors of the units were not enough of an indicator. It might not hurt to get in touch with EHX to see what they say about it though.
The reissue delay pedals have redesigned circuits, as the BBD line used in the originals is no longer made and quite scarce now (the Reticon SAD-1024A). I believe that this is the case both for the Small Clone as well as the Electric Mistress.
got a reply from EHX and they said that my pedal is probably either a vintage copy or a reissue that was from earlier productions... well guess mine is a reissue considering i onli bought it like 3yrs ago and at S$150 (about US$94)...
