I bought a CE-3 listed "Like new, barely used, in box. Made in Japan." with a stock picture. I receive it, and its scratched up, but certainly not "barely used". Seller emailed back saying "barely used by ME". Pfft.
SO, while I have scored really good by a seller too lazy to take his own picture; I have also been roasted by a seller too lazy to take his own picture too. |

I never like bidding on things unless there is a picture of the actual item. Mind you some people can't take photos or deliberately take small sized photos so you can't see much.
I guess if in doubt, don't bid but like star36 said you either get a great deal or a real dog of a deal.
Hopefully you get a great deal! |

That's just slippery... "shonky" is the Australian term. ("unreliable, or a very suspect deal") |

| The problem with eBay, is you run into a string of good sellers who are honest and you get a little hasty, putting bids on things without asking questions. I never forget that prick who said "barely used by ME", so I always ask questions, you just never know when you are going to get burnt, and even asking simple questions ... you can learn a lot about the seller, as their attutude and character can actually come across. A general corollary: Crooks are ALWAYS LAZY and if it sounds to good to be true, it is NOT. .... sloppy listings = sloppy seller; 'mint condition' and no pictures to prove it = buyer beware. |

Yeah, but at 30 all in, it's worth a chance! I shall give you an update when it arrives!
"Hardly used by me" !!?? That's pretty pathetic. I hope you went round their houses and slapped them! |

1. 30 all in - yep, worth the chance! 2. I wish I could have slapped them! Since I bought it blind, i was dreaming of a MINTY CE-3 with box and manual and well, it was Used and no manual. It worked perfect but not the condition i wanted so I resold it. I was ablt to get out and under about $15.00 to the good. It will take me a long time to make my million at this. |

Well, it came. I've just finished night shift so I haven't had a chance to try it, and probably wont till tomorrow. Don't forsee any problems. This thing is virtually brand new. Have a pic....

About $55-60.
Good deal DasBeef! I got my NOS for about $69USD. The PW-2 sounds totally different & sits well between say an MT-2 & OD-3 with its dark, grungy tones. |

All tested! All OK, as expected! I'm a fan of this wee trick box. Certainly good for a grungey sound. Can squeeze some good blues-ey stuff out of it as well! Would reccomend it to anyone as a distortion! Very versatile! I'm very, very pleased! |
