This is in nice shape, but it's the highest I've seen for a DM-3

very nice and high, was this thing painted the inside of the battery compartment is chipped and not much on the outside. seems funny

that's simply corrosion from a leaking battery.. that really mars the otherwise fine condition of this - definitely not worth $330 in this buyer's market. Maybe $200. Maybe $175.
