I have a 4ms stereo tremulus panneur with the speed expression input on the side and a Moog expression pedal. I'm pretty certain that if I can switch out the pot in the expression pedal it will fix my current issue.

The issue is that the expression pedal doesn't start to have an effect on the speed of my tremulus panneur (or my vox repeat percussion clone [modded w/ speed expression input as well]) until I have it almost totally depressed, and at that time it's as if it goes from 0-100 immediately. I have adjusted the height of the 'gear' that controlls the turning of the pot, but that isn't helping.

I think the solution is the replace the pot in the expression pedal with one of a differnt value that will allow for a more smooth and constant "expression." I've googled and seen posts also suggesting this fix, but none specify what kind or value of pot to replace it with.

Anyone here have experience with this sort of thing?

I can't say for certain, but maybe try a 10K or 25K pot instead. What's the value of the pot on the Moog pedal? I'm guessing from the sounds of your description that it's 100K or more, but again that's just a guess.
