Ilistened to a few samples but I don't think the got even close to the "balls to the wall - accept" sound

I actually posted on another forum about Ickey Thump (an no one knew the answer).

However, I would be surprised if it was right. He def does not use a Boss PS-5

Hi bosshog

I believe that the:
"The Pedals That Make The Tone" - web page
is how to simulate, or emulate the sounds of these artists & songs, using just Boss pedals.

I would assume that there is a lot of(TON of) artistic license
used by Paul Hanson & Boss, in these patches, read his pop-up notes.
Don't forget - They are basically, out there to sell pedals, & make a profit for their stock holders.

Sorry if I reduced it to basic accounting.

And don't forget that your guitar/pickups & amplifier add Massive variables to the suggested settings.

But on a positive note:
The real talent/challenge, is when YOU! Yourself...
Develop your own signature Sound or Sounds, that everyone else wants to emulate.
