Wow, 76 bids! I can't remember the last time I saw that many bids for anything (not that I've ever really looked at bid numbers..)
I wasn't one of the bidders, even though I notice a bidder has a name similar to my logon name here.
I'm still waiting for two Boss pedals I bought on Ebay, one has been in transit for nearly a month, the other for two weeks, I'm starting to fear they may be lost. How long do you wait for a US to UK pedal (or vice-versa) before deciding it is missing? |

ya that is crazy bidding.guirat, ive had a pedal take 7 weeks to arrive once from US before. and i checked the shipping date to make sure he didnt just hold it for a while. i find with America, sometimes they hold it at the border for a ludicrous amount of time, due to security of course. on another occasion, i ordered a pedal from Australia and one from US on the same day, and the Oz pedal arrived first... |

Thanks for the reply StratoSphere, they might yet arrive, here's hoping.
One pedal is insured, the other isn't. If I buy another online (probably depending on the outcome of these two) I'll make sure I get insurance, tracking, the whole works on any future purchases. It's just so easy for something to go wrong, something I hadn't thought about until it did. I suppose the only other alternative is to take a chance but "don't spend what you can't afford to lose".

I got insurance once, and the company shipped to the wrong address
they got the package back, and i told them i insured it to get to me, but they said that i would have to pay again anyway... all it was was an extra $2 they get for nothing.
after 2 months of arguing i finally got them to send it i think it helped that i paid for insurance, since i was calling them out on their extra side money scheme
so i guess insurance lets you argue until you get a full (with shipping) refund, or a new thing sent for no extra |

I find that if it takes more than a fortnight or so, then it's caught in customs, and I've got a hefty charge to pay. |
