I got the new AMS (american musical supply) catalog today, and on the cover is Kiefer Sutherland holding a guitar...inside the cover it explains that Kiefer Sutherland is holding THE NEW KIEFER SUTHERLAND KS-336?!?!?!
You know when I think of influential guitarists, my top four are Les Paul, Hendrix, Van Halen, and Kiefer Sutherland...lol....
What did Keanu Reaves pass on the Dogstar bass and Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure guitar???
Does anyone know when the Ralph Macchio (the actor from Crossroads) signature guitar will be released? Or the Lou Diamond Phillips (LaBamba) signature guitar comes out? The Gary aBusey signature guitar?
I think Steinberger has a signature Verne Troyer (MiniMe) guitar....Okay I pulled a Saturday Night Live and tried to take it one step further, when I should have stepped out 1 or 2 steps back.... |

Hi Goran & Guys Is the Teddy Bear - standard or optional?
And where on the guitar body-neck would they fit it?

Zena Pricess Worrior S.G.
With a Contoured Body - The guitar's ..
or what about a MATRIX TRILOGY Les Paul Remember Neo - "There is no guitar"
Now here's one! The Gibson (Fender modeling Strat) It looks like a sunburst Les Paul, but sounds just like a Fender Strat.
The Maddona Les Paul Over time, It gets a little rough around the edges, but still plays well. It loves everyone to have a go on it. [[Vogue]]
Enough.........

Apperently keiffer is a big collector. Since hes huge with 24 right now, I guess they want something to hitch onto its success.

| I don't know, it just doesn't make sense, there are hundreds of huge collectors. 24 is a popular show, but I've never watched it. Something else weird and/or disturbing about Gibson is that I heard that they will cease to produce, if they haven't already stopped producing, all left-handed versions of their guitars....I'm not a lefty, so it doesn't affect me, but still, most of the large guitar companies at least have a few left handed models... |

I think its because theres not enough demand for new left handed guitars.
And i agree its wierd to make a guitar because of a show. I was looking through the some of the other ones, and theres one for a 17year old actor...whos on a show called "Nickoledean's Drake&Josh" if anyones ever heard of it?
but wherever theres a dollar to be made i guess |

I'd considered their Melodymaker in recent years, but for a very basically constructed guitar it was just too expensive in the UK, 400 to 500, whereas it was selling in the US for a fraction of this amount.
The new Melodymaker due to come out looks great, much closer to a vintage model, but they had to go and remove the P90 which is what I really liked about the Melodymaker! In fact I've seen a few Gibsons I like, only to go to the website and find out they are discontinued. I like it, they discontinue it
The current LP Junior is similar and has a P90, but then it has an artist's name on the headstock that I've never heard of, and there is possibly a price premium for the name. I had seen the Keifer guitar somewhere before. Who knows, he's probably a far better player than many 'chart acts' on the go nowadays so I don't have too much of a problem with it. At least I've heard of him.
When trying to think of some other celebrities who play guitar I remembered a lot of tennis players do, how about a John McEnroe model (strengthened of course).
