Hi to all,
today I've play my electric guitars for the first time and I can't express my sensations after long time (almost 2 months!, anyway... I won't be long with words as my habits.
I've realized that the Behringer Chorus isn't quite the sound I would like to have for the chorus, so I would like to have a CE-2, but there's a problem I don't have ebay (I hate it) and the only friend that I know that use it it's one of my singer and she knows only that pedals are "those lovely coloured little box".
Can you help me to find some good business, please? So I can say to her to buy it.
Thanks. |

Whopsss... I ask to the moderators to move this thread to the appropriate section, please.
Sorry.
BBM & P4P: thanks I've saw it and the only two recent threads 'bout it are the one with the withdrewing and the other one with Zentropa that ask 125 bucks, with all my friendship for Zen, but including the shipping will be increase too much for my pocket.
Also, I wish to have a good business and ebay could give me, with all respect for Coeone, but I don't know him and I haven't any insurance for my money and I won't pay money for something incomplete, I can understand scratches or what, but I want the pedal complete with all component, knob included! |

Hi EsPeeOne, nice to you see you too.
No, the ribs aren't soldered yet (I'm becoming a scientiphic rarity), but I've must to go ahead anyway, the rehearsal will begin september 4th and I've must to be there healed or not: I'm the chief and this is include also to have responsabilities.
I feel a little pain when I sing, but the main fact is that I'm stand on my feet.
Did you see the videos? The gig gone very, very well, we had full the place and the press wrote very good articles 'bout us.
Bob: thanks.
I WANT A CE-2!!!!!! |

If I lived anywhere close to Italy, I would be happy to let you borrow one of my collection.
I'm also glad to hear that you're getting a lot better.

Fabius...
notice the "obo" after my $125 = or best offer. feel free to make me an offer.
the one i have just happens to be VERY clean for that early of a pedal late 1980 or early 81 (serial # database didn't have it in there) and it's not really by choice that i'm selling it (selling it to pay bills).
one of my 2 extra chorii has to go, so that means either a CE-2 or analog CH-1 is going buh bye.

Thanks Zen, but the reason of my post is why I don't know 'bout prices of used pedals and add also that is different country by country, shop by shop!
I'm grateful of your OBO and I'll regroup all the money that I can to make an adeguate offer (for this damned car accident the work wasn't so good nowaday).
Anyway let it free to sell to anyone it offers a good price. |

right now on ebay MIJ CE-2's have been clearing ~$110 + ~$10 shipping on ebay lately with a few high/low outliers and no real consideration for condition and year.
i've owned about a dozen of these and there's a subtle difference between the earliest CE-2's and the "use your fingers" black label CE-2's... as well as a subtle difference between the green label ones and the MIT ones.
the later ones were way more "wet" and up front with the effect. the earlier ones get more subtle but are way warmer/fuller with more bass retention.
a problem i've had w/ green label and beyond is that it's possible to clip the input and pick up some distortion when playing with high output buckers.
i currently have the pedal on craigslist and someone is considering my counter-offer of $110 to their lowball offer they made me.
just for a heads up, the euro is pretty strong vs. the dollar right now and i'm guessing it will be for the next 6-12 months. after this winter's elections i would guess things are going to change a bit. between now and november are going to be your best bet to snag one, but remember, prices will spike before christmas and they don't recover until late feb/early march.
our domestic interest rates have basically bottomed out (you can get a 30 year mortgage right now at like 1.9% APR) which has helped sink the dollar in the foreign exchange markets. a new president will likely enact a few policies to shake up the economy and hopefully do something to help the dollar recover in order to balance off the cost of living by making imports cheaper again. |
