I have never seen one IRL... How are the pedals attached in the case??
In my ME-X they fit neatly into the plastic groove - is it the same with the BCB's ??
Cheers |

BCB-3 and BCB-6 have plastic grooves, similar to ME-X, BCB-60 has a high density foam insert, that can be custom cut to fit pedals of different sizes |

Hi Vim Fuego They fit into high density foam cutouts that come with the BCB-60 case. Hope this helps.

| BCB-60: If you need to custom cut for non-Boss pedals you can use the thing (foam rubber/platsic) you use under sleeping bags, cheap and easy to work with. |

| I've found that some of the EARLIEST compact pedals will get scratched by trying to force them against the plastic nubs of a bcb-6.. Now I'm afraid to use it, and it sits on the shelf.. empty. So sad. |

Yeah I'm sometimes afraid of using my BCB-30 with some of my older pedals because I might damage the paint. Then again a bit of paint or a loose pedal, not sure what would annoy me more.
I find I use my BCB-60 more because the foam is much better for holding the pedals in. I actually made a board for 10 pedals which uses foam to hold the pedals in and its great! |

I'm just too modest but I'll see what I can do.
It's not really a board I use much as it's heavy and not easy tro transport. I really love using my BCB-60. |

Here's a couple of pics, I didn't load it up with pedals but I think you get the idea.

Hi Ronster
Thanks for the pic's.
Where did you get the foam? Maybe from Clark Rubber? It looks high density?
You should get rid of that old CE-2 thing I'll take it off your hands if you're getting sick of it

Wow ronster, I really like your idea.
I've been searching around for ideas of a custum pedal board and I think I'll use yours. |

Hey Dr Bob and others
Yes it's high density foam (a bit like the stuff in the bottom of the BCB-60) and yes I got it from Clark Rubber.
It's basically a wooden board with some picture frame edging nailed to the sides to create the sides to hold the foam in. Then it's just a matter of cutting the foam to whatever pedal shapes you want! It's not easy to transport by itself so I built a box to sit the board in. Took a lot of wood and was pretty heavy in the end. That's why I like my BCB boards as they are light and easy to transport. Mind you I still wouldn't kind checking out the Behringer 12 pedal board.
PS Right Foot Boss, you will have to post some pics once you are done. The hardest part is working out how big to make it! |

Hi Ronster
Just a quick heads up, the Behringer 12 pedal case is very heavy - it was quite a bit heavier than I expected. (without pedals).
It has a 1 amp power supply, it might be a switching type...
It retails for $199.99au but I have seen them as low as $169 on a music shops, web store.... Not mentioning name for free advertising, the one nearest my home, heading towards the Island, ( Cryptic Enough? )
How much did you pay for the foam? My friend owns a s/hand & Clark Rubber store out in country Victoria.
Regards Dr. Bob |

I can't remember but I do remember at the time that is was not cheap. That's the problem with getting it cut to size.
I think it I make another I would just use a foam camping mat and just cut that up. You can pick them up pretty cheap in discount stores. |
