My DD20 has developed an annoying high pitched hiss... even when running on it's own Boss PSA or just batteries.
Even if I plug the outputs straight to my any amp or mixer (with nothing plugged to it's inputs) , the noise is there. It's coming through on any recordings I do as well.
Very, very, annoying.
None of my other pedals/equipement are doing this.
Any thoughts? |

Had it since whenever they first came out.
So mine is probably one of the first ones. |

Hah... i can't find when that was! How many years old is it?
I ask because that sort of hiss is often a semiconductor (opamp, FET, etc) on the way out because it is "old". But I wouldn't expect to have that in something less than 5-10 years old. |

Solve it.
It was a cable interferring that was picking up alot of noise from everything. |

I know... I was beginning to worry.
Normally I check all the cables, routing, etc... I don't know why I didn't do it this time |
