I would not dare to bid such an amount of money for something sold on Ebay. When it comes to vintage guitars and the premium prices they command (read Fender and Gibson) you really have to know your stuff, and what youre bidding on. I assume that the people bidding that kind of money have been able to inspect that particular guitar first hand, under a magnifying glass...
It would be interesting to take a peek into the future 20 years or so and see how the Boss pedals are doing... |

I was wrong, this auction for a '51 Telecaster didn't get into six figures; it ended at just under $51k. as someone who's never paid more than $500 for any piece of musical gear, this auction was fun to watch, I guess....
