I'm more of an Overdrive modder. But to get more gain like a Rat pedal, look at the R31/C19 and R30/C18 combos. Halve the resitor values, and double the capacitors' value.
The mod you have listed is the Big/Full/Fat mod by Keeley, and my earlier post for Marshall type tones is Keeley's also.

The modification made to benefit the distortion and overdrive gain decreased markedly, especially when the pot of color is in od and the maximum gain, sustain is poor, aguante chile!!   |
