Even the postage was nearly more. And the free bonus cable would be worth just as much |

Looking at the buyer's record I get the impression he's a professional buyer/seller. Wouldn't surprise me if the CE-2 is back on Ebay again in 2 weeks with a $200 BIN. |

Hi Stratman, StratoSphere & Guys
Yes. I think I shed a tear, like most of us.
The Seller probably had no idea as to what he was selling He mentions that he had it hooked up to a Hohner Clavinet keyboard.
And that looks to be the crux of the ad.
I hope it went to someone who will look after it.
Regards Dr. Bob |

Yeah, hope the buyer lists it with a typo with a BIN for "$20.00" instead of "200.00"
Now that would be some nice karma! |

Please stop torturing us, BossHog... We have all be consoling each other for hours now. Stratman has been banging his head against the wall. Some of us (StratoSphere) is still crying......
Hey Strato, My Electronic Engineering ESP, tells me that it will fail in the first few hours, while in the new buyers hands, it will have the following faults:
All the solder joints will go bad (Cold solder joints). All the paint will fall off. (in one go) The pots will go scratchy. The Knobs will crack & fall off. The input-output sockets will short out, & the nuts will rust. The PCB will crack in 3 places. The foot switch will go open circuit. The spring will go brittle, & then break in 5 pieces. The screws holding the foot pedal will seize & shear off. The foot pedal will crumble into aluminum casting dust. The main case will split in 9 places.
There, Strato & Stratman, feel better now? I know I do!
Regards Dr. Bob PS - I forgot, the box will self combust.

Not to mention that as soon as he stomps on it, it will open up a neverending well, into which he will fall. I'm still pissed off about the Mint Condition PN-2 I missed for $20 |
