| Err, I think that's way overpriced. No label on the bottom. It's not the long dash version like he claims. It's dirty and I see a few chips. You could do better, though admittedly you have to wait for the pedal to appear. |

I think the person is one of those, "I want to get as much money as I can since eBay doesn't take a cut from shipping expenses." If not, it better be packed in the most expensive bubble wrap-foam-packing peanuts that money can buy.... |

The reason I joined ebay was because the second hand stores near me have nothing. If you decide you want a CE-2, then there's usually one on ebay, maybe interstate or in another country, but you can get one. There's a long wait between CE-2s if I'm relying on my local pawn shop to get one in.
Paypal is pretty simple. You have an account, the person who you want to send money to has one, and you can fund your account from your bank account of credit card. In my experience the company has been very legit - (ie don't take money out of your bank account without authorization, put money from your paypal account into your bank account when you tell them), and if you are cheated by a seller, paypal will usually recover your money for you, so there's minimal risk. Not like the bad old days of ebay in the late 90s, where you had to pay with money order (though I was never ripped off, it's much easier to do with money order). |

Yea its not too hard, and ive only had one or two problems out of around 75 transactions.
I remember my first buy, I sent cash in the mail. Luckly it was an honest seller, and i got the cds. But anyway just always go with paypal. I avoid the ones that dont accept it, since the other ways are amlost not traceable at all.
Keep a watch over your paypal account though. Ive heard a lot of people who get screwed over by paypal taking double balance, or just loosing some of the amounts in your balance. Ive had it happen once, where I took 1cent from my bank to paypal (all i needed to get to the right amount), and paypal took 2cents in 2 transactions (1 each), so it doubled it. Because it was only 2cents, i didnt do anything about it, but if your going to buy something with all the funds from the bank, look out for it. I would recomend not leaving any money inside your paypal account either, since banks are a lot safer. Im not trying to discourage you, because it really is good, and makes everything a lot easier, but just keep track of things. |

I do not keep any money in my paypal account either. I also link it to a checking account with little to no money. If I do need money, I transfer from savings to checking to paypal. That gives me a few layers of defense against paypal or a hacker trying to take my money.
Also, watch out for phishing scams. Eventually you will get an email supposedly from paypal asking you to log on to your account using the email link because of some problem. The link goes to some phony paypal look alike site that is used to steal passwords. Never ever use a link from an email to log on to a financial web site. |
