That would be the one, the only G Payer298(gplayer298). Laurie and Dirk suggested maybe he's working with others to drive up prices. I think I agree with them! But I don't know who benifits other than the sellers. Maybe they're sitting on a large collection of Boss and MXR vintage pedals, and trying to increase their value. I just purchaced an MXR Phase 90 (Sep.74), Bud box in like new condition for $325 BIN. This was just 3 months ago, and it was listed for over 3 days. I paid the going price, no great deal as the reissue that MXR offers is dead on and I only got the orig. as a collector item. I do find it strange that they would double in value in a couple of months. Hmmmm...somthing is going on. |

| I am Starting to find things funny. I buy and sell alot of pedals, i am starting to see things go for Crazy prices.I mean times are tough right now for most people. But to have prices like this going on. I mean, Once in awhile is OK. But this is becoming more then a daily occurrence. I mean the phase 90 is a great pedal.EVH using one can bring up the price for the people looking for the "brown" sound. I even think paying 350 might seem a little high today. But it will be worth it for an investment, it wont go down in value. But i am starting to see alot of pedals starting to get cheap to. It always has been just get the right timing. |

I agree that the Phase 90 is a great pedal, and very collectable. It wasn't a cheap pedal when it was new, back in the '70s either. I just wondered if there was anything about this particular pedal that made it more desirable. If this is the going price now, then I'm putting my boxed version on tomorrow  |
