I have a CE-3 with the white tops and I think like the BF-2 the newer ones had different knobs. Hard to tell from the colour in the photo but the knobs look like the original ones to me.
I'd like to identify Taiwan/Japan for the pedals I used to own. I don't remember where they were made or what colour the labels were. All were bought new between 87 to 89. Sorry to be so vague.
CE-3 with white topped controls - Taiwan? BF-2 with black controls - Japan? HM-2, could be either I suppose.
I'm trying to gather the ones I used to have, and would like to get the same model. I used to swap the controls between my pedals for a different look, so I can imagine it's a bit of a minefield trying to definitively identify these pedals nowadays from pics, unless you get to see the label.
