Thanks for all your time & effort helping out.
It's nice to hear from people like yourself, that have regular live gigs,
& the fun, trials & tribulations that go with live gigging, drunken punters, falling PA stacks & the well endowed girls in the front row pics. 
As well as being a member of the CE-2 non-modders appreciation society.
And from a personal point, thanks for all the late night PM's, & pics of the Quay.

Congrats mate - it's always a pleasure reading about your band, gear experiments and so on - you've given me lots of useful ideas and may there be many more.
Hopefully, I will get over to Dublin well before you reach 5,000 posts!! We are due a band 'away weekend' soon and so guess where I'm going to recommend?
Many, many of these to ya..what more can I say

Thanks everyone......really enjoy being part of this forum and reading all the posts and stuff from everybody,i hope my comments and posts are helpful as i'm not a collector or a tech person...all my experiences are just that of a guitar player who (like us all)loves trying to improve his tone and has that irepressible surge of G.A.S. every now and again and has gone through waaay too much stuff over the years........

I treated myself to an early christmas/3000 posts present of one of Lauries excellent HZD boosters that made it's debut appearance on one of our gigs last night... if you ever heard the expression used that a certain piece of gear made it sound like you hade pulled a blanket off your amp..this is it.....not for the faint hearted as this little box packs quite a wallop......
P.S. thanks to The_Doc (kev) fellow road warrior for listening to my anti-drummer rants..... ..i'll bring a spare amp and the SG2000s for when your in town bro'.......
P.P.S.... speaking of DeFrag..anyone seen him lately....?
Not long up from last night's latest installment of our own mini rock n roll circus so sorry about the late post..and have to do it all again tonight,it's great looking forward to going to work especially on a saturday night....
