The Line6 is the crunchtone. I use it as the sswiss army pedal. The BLUES setting is kinda like a BD-2, the POP setting does a cool AC30 sound and the CRUNCH does the Marshall sound. When I was comparing the MD-2 to the MT-2, the MD-2 had a much more open sound too me. I was looking for a heavy rock distortion and not a scooped mid metal tone. I don't play metal, onlye blues rock and the MD-2 gets a super marshall or mesa high gain sound. The Wasabi rock-a-bye has a great tape echo (up to 600ms) and a decent OD for tube breakup.
