I love every one of these.
So much fun especially when you incorporate expression. I use an EV-5 and some option knobs for pedals without an exp in.

Whoops - forgot I posted it already on page 8. Oh well., heres another,

just thought i would show you what it looks like now since i got it halfaway restored/repaired..it is a 1977 (not 74 like i mentioned in the other post) Aria model 6814 12 string....it was given to me about 25 years ago and it sounds awesome..the neck on this thing feels esactly like an Ibanez Wizard....

Drooooooool. I really lke the Ibanez 9 series. Are these ALL the 9's made? Will you list the model (ex.: TS9) and name (TubeScreamer) of all 14 pedals?

I have read that the footswitches on the 9 series are very unreliable and many modders (Keeley, etc.) actually drill standard plunger-type switches as part of the mod. What do you know about this?

Thank You

Yes your Ibanez nines are a thing to behold. Great little family you have there. Thanks for sharing them with us. I'm sure we all appreciate them.

OH, the GAS pains! I feel them starting up again.

thanks guys,

I collected Ibanez effects before Boss (there has fewer models )

The vintage serie is complete, there was also the TS9 reissue (I have one) and the TS9 DX (not on the picture) but these models are newer, dating from the 90s.

Here is the list (from left to right, on top first)

BC9 Bi mode chorus
CS9 Stereo Chorus
PT9 Phaser
FL9 Flanger
AF9 Auto Filter
PQ9 Parametric Equalizer
GE9 Graphic Equalizer

AD9 Analog Delay
CP9 Compressor Limiter (the only one I bought new in the eighties)
TS9 Tube Screamer (overdrive)
OD9 Overdrive (rather a fuzz)
ST9 Super Tube Screamer (overdrive, my favorite)
SD9 Sonic distortion (distortion)
SM9 Super Metal (distortion)

Here is a link for the different Ibanez series : http://members.chello.nl/~t.heertjes/Ibanez%20effectpedals.html

I don't use these pedals a lot but I never had any problems with the switches. I know they are unreliable but you can fix it easily. I think modders drill new switches because original switches are not true bypass.

Another additional question for fabs: Is there a noticeable diferrence in sound between LED and not-LED models? In finest tradition, the non-LED's propably sound the best.

I hear no difference between my two dynacomps and the pcb seems to be the same. One has pots dated 1977 (very early block logo cause the back plate still has the MXR script logo) and the other has pots from 1979 and a rubber on the back plate.

Joske, when you say "led model", do you mean recent Dunlop reissues ? Cause at the end of production in 1982, the last MXR block logo have a led and a power supply connector (as the phase 90 on the picture).

I read that there is a noticeable sound difference between these models and the Dunlop reissues but I never try a new model.
