I am trying to build a Boss HM-2 pedal using the schematic that i downloaded in the site, but i think there's something wrong with the schematic...when i saw the internal pictures of the Boss HM-2 there were 10 transistors on the board, but there were only 3 in the schematic..help pls..

Welcome to the forum!!
From the sounds of it, you have the schem of only the effect signal circuit and not the flip-flop section. Which is where your seeing the extra transistors. If your building one from scratch and using a stomp switch, you won't need the flip-flops and can wire it up with a true bypass. So you'll all good to go.
Let us know how it goes, sure lots here would like to see how a home brewed HM2 turns out.

Are you building one cause you can, or is the HM2 scarce in the philippines?

Hi darkcortz and welcome to the forum.

I wrote a post about the flipflop earlier that might be helpful. You can find it at http://www.bossarea.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=1036

The switch connected to the flipflop is needed. Without it you will not be able to turn the pedal on or off. It needs to be a the kind of switch that makes contact when pressed but breaks automaticly when released.

Hi darkcortz

Welcome to the forum from Australia.

You could use a DPDT toggling push button switch,
if you wanted to totally omit the flip flop & associated switching FET's.

Good luck with the build, & please keep us informed of your progress.

That was the path I was thinking of, using a dpdt stomper and making it true bypass instead of the extra work in adding the fet bypass section.
Keep it simple
