As much as I wish I had one.. I'm wondering if ANY skeleton-switch CE-2 pedals exist. Their production began (if Roland is to be believed) in October 79 - this is very near the changeover from clear-to-black switch. Does anyone have a CE-2 #8700 or earlier with a clear switch??
Maybe the changeover was due to the introduction of the CE-2 necessitating a load more switches than they'd ever needed..
The earliest registered CE-2 serial number is 8300. Unfortunately I didn't write down what type of switch it had. dm2 has (or used to have) a CE-2 with serial number 8700 but I don't know the type of switch.
