You'll forgive me the title, but I've found a thing that could be a curiosity (at least for me).
I've found my ME-5 and the box and I've discovered where are finished all my old stickers
and glued both the stickers there's this medal too (the white on the BOSS was painted by me) maybe doesn't value so much, maybe values something, but the main thing is: where I could have found it in a pedal box or a gift of some shopper?

Can you get a better & closeup pic, of your 5 Million pedals sold plaque - badge?
I would like to add it to the " Boss Memorabilia & Promotion Items" thread, see below.
In that thread, is my 1976-1986 3 Million pedals sold brass plaque - badge:

I was lucky, in that it's still in it's original packing.
That would make it about an extra 2 million pedals sold in approx the 3 years difference.

Ok, let me time to remove it from the box, clean the glue and the ink and I'll scan it.
I saw the link and I remember now (Queensryiche  ) I'd have still the screws and keychain somewhere.
So you confirm to me that it was a gift of the shopper? |

I can't tell you much about the badge, or if it was a Boss gift.
The one I have, my friend Justin found in an evilBay sale, & snapped it up for about $10-$15au
That is all I know about it/them.
Apologies that I wasn't much help.
I noticed one on vicix website.
maybe he can tell us something about it?

I got a 3 mill version as well. It was shipped with a pedal and packed in the box with the manual.
I bought the pedal off Ebay but I asked the seller and he told me that the plaque came with the pedal. |

Boss: I have a sort of far and faded record about the fact that it was gifted to me both HM-2, but I'm almost sure that I've bought HM-2 before 1988... what a bad thing the old age. 
Anyway...
Bob: It is good enough? I have it the original scan more big and 300 dpi. |
