Yes they look like crap.
But this Kack Yellow pedal Sounds Just Magic.... 
Many of my friends bought one & have nothing but praise for them,
all the really good sounds are low on the drive pot.
I think they built my one, with the wrong taper pot. LOG instead of linear.

Maybe its because, Venus isn't aligned with Mars 
Does the link location, get copied to the cursor position?
I'm using FireFox 2.0x, in case that helps any.
And don't tell anyone, but I do it all from a high end Mac, let's keep that our little secret.

Hi Bossarea & Guys
Well today, I reverse engineered the Yellow super overdrive pedal, that I bought from Aldi supermarkets.
I found that it is an exact copy, & I do mean exact, of the Vintage Boss SD-1 Overdrive ACA series.
They even copied it down to the 470 ohm resistor that is in series with the protection diode on the DC input socket.
Which means that the pedal is an ACA power pack 12V unreg DC only pedal.
I tried it on 9V reg DC & the LED was dimly lit, as one would expect.
I will short out the 470 Ohm resistor, with a small link, so that it can operate from a modern & standard PSA 9V adapter.
Now that I have done the reverse engineering on the pedal,
I will atempt, to do an AB comparison, with my (2) SD-1's,
but unfortunately, both of my SD-1's are MIT.
I have never heard a MIJ SD-1, but maybe this is what a MIJ SD-1 sounds like.
I really do like the sound of this $29.95 yellow plastic pedal.
No wonder, it's an SD-1...
Just remember, this pedal is sold under many re-badged brands on EvilBay, & in some music stores.

Bob tell Patric to keep his eye out for a bag of JRC4558D's that I pulled outa some old stackers, im sure I have left them in my old area somewhere.
Have a lot of spare time at the moment Bob so I would love to catch up for a Jam/Tech session.

ya that IS crazy about burnsy but did you know that Stella and Dweezil are having ANTOHER kid? whats that like 8 for them? i just wanna know why im not invited to the free B-Crust BBQ? its not one of those vegan BBQs is it? i told you before, its not that i dont wanna kill animals, its jsut that meat tends to go straight to my thighs.

The new kid is really cute.
Stella is one hot Babe, you can see why Dweezil & her have stayed together for so long.
It's just that Widsa & I worked together for about 1.5 years,
I was strange to see him on the forum.
