Just get another MIJ plate with the foot and label intact, problem solved.
I've got a spare one in nice condition my parts bin, that I ordered from Boss many moons ago for a thrashed up DS-1 I was attempting to restore. Never got all of the parts I needed (no treadle), but all that's moot now that I've got a '78 SS one.
But there's bound to be another junker out there to make the sacrifice for this one.

| I thought he meant just the rubber part of the bottom is missing, which can happen if you use velcro. Either way you could always switch bottoms with a lesser MIJ pedal. |

| But it is a very good looking pedal. It looks mint, I can't get the point why people use velcro. But is that pedal useful? I have'nt tried it. |

Liquidy smooth vibrato. Kind of like the sonic equivalent of a nice cold |

But why? You have your fingers for vibrato and pedals for what you can't do.. Like chorus and flanger. Not vibrato. That's for losers. |

Its a strange pedal, I like it for chordal works. As most of the rarer Boss pedals you can live without it. The high price is a reflection of rarity, not usefulness. VB-2 is the Boss pedal I paid the most for, way too much..

| The pedal I paid most for is my #8800 CE-2 with Box (gurran.blogg.se) But that is a very useful pedal.. |

| It is very limited in usefulness, but it does do the vibrato effect very well. |

| Too bad mate. What's their problem? ...even if we offered to pay extra for shipping or what not, I don't see what the deal is. |
