I also play bass. The only remark/question that comes to my mind is: why do you have a CS-3 and a LMB-3 in your chain? I thought they had about the same effect,just reaching it via a different technique.
Hm, I just realized I also have CS-3 and an LM-2B The LM-2B is the first pedal in my chain. The CS-3 is not at the moment, I am experimenting if I can use it in some songs as an over the top sustainer.
I use the CS3 just occasionaly when soloing, to "boost" the general volume without too much compression, or when using tapping techniques (boost+comp). I only use the LMB as an Enhancer, to add a bit of brilliance (I will try with the EH-2 as soon as I have received it).
In fact, the CS3 "smooths" the signal, increasing lowest gains and lowering highest ones. The limiter just cuts the peaks of volume (if I'm right...)
