I bought BCB-60 cables from Roland Canada. The short ones are about $10 and the long are about $14. The BCB-60 cables look much heavier than the BCB-3 cables, but I don't know what the wire gauge specs are. Both the BCB-60 and the BCB-3 cables are far superior, volume drop wise, to the cheap, six different colours in a pack ones. I also like them because they fit the stereo jacks on Boss pedals even in a BCB-6.

I either make 'em myself from Neutrik jacks and whatever old guitar cord I have lying around.
And I have a pair of Klotz cables which hold up really well, I've used both of 'em for at least 4 years now.
