Ebay Item number: 7386646403

With silver screw but the backplate says "Use your fingers to unscrew"

Could this be for real or is the screw or bottom plate wrong??

Its an early one with clear switch, and the silverscrew looks right to me. These labels should normally not appear on an early pedal like this one, so I have a gut feeling that it is not original. It could be original for all I know, but I have never seen a label like that on such an early pedal. The question is though, why the original might have been replaced...

The battery wires are coming out of the case in the right place to be an old one, too.

I agree. I think the bottom plate has been replaced. I don't think the black thumbscrew was thought up yet while they were still using clear switches.
