Maybe nobody cares, but I just have to share.
Our family took a mid-winter vacation (from Illinois) to Clearwater, Florida.
My son kept begging to go to pawn shops, so one day, with GPS in hand we hit the road.
Long story short, at about the tenth pawn shop he went to, they had a 75% off area with a Marshall AVT50 combo (tube pre-amp, solid state power amp) for $299 - 75% = $75. I asked what was wrong with it -- nothing, it's just not selling so we have to move it. So, I tried it out, everything seemed to work, and now my son and I are proud owners of a partial tube Marshall 50W amp for less than the price of a shoe box size practice amp.
Just wanted to share. Any other great pawn shop finds out there?? |

I see a scratch next to the name... Must be the amp formerly known as Prince. Looks as though it's sitting on one of his coats as well. I bet he's pissed!!!
