Rico is the business...! i just watched an episode on Discovery Shed..(sky 242) and he pulled the fibreglass roof off an old hi-roof ford transit van and turned it into a boat...!! man i was laughing so much but this guy is very talented and you should see how this thing started to take shape after he got started into it and i can't wait till this evening to see how it works,it was actualy very interesting in how he gets his ideas and builds things from scratch,he is also very 'tongue in cheek' with his comments....2nd part of the boat build is on tonight at 6pm on Discovery shed...
P.S i also love the episode where he turned an old harmonium cabinet and a church bench into a computer workstation....watch out when he starts up that chainsaw....!!!.........
Whoo hoo....an answer...........yep JC he really is the business and as someone who does a bit of 'reclaiming'..myself i really like the way Rico thinks...plus one great benefit from watching the show that i forgot to meention...the is some really cool guitar playing going on as the background music........
I think it's a few years old now Dr Bob..Rico is originally from London but relocated to France after the 1st series which then went by the title 'Le Salvager'......i reckon i stumbled on the repeats on one of the Discovery channels really enjoying the show and the music is the icing on the cake.. i tape it while i'm out working or gigging and watch them with a beer and guitar in hand,noodling along to the background music when everyone is in bed when i get back......we have a few different discovery channels and this one is called 'discovery shed' basically to do with DIY and hobbies...maybe someone should do a series of collecting Guitars and associated gear like boss pedals......
