I don't know if it's a new low for SP-1s in general, or is also a function of the seller (br_99_z2). although he has good feedback overall, a few of his auctions featured pedals with obviously non-original parts (e.g., knobs, bottom plates) or other discrepancies, that were not noted as such in the description. (last month, I 'watched' one of his auctions with a different(?) SP-1, with no inked serial number; it did not sell at $400.)
anyway, I wasn't in the market for a SP-1, but if I was, I'm not sure I'd buy from that seller. he's probably a nice guy, but someone who sells that many pedals should be able to figure out what is original and what is not, and note such discrepancies in the item description.
