| Hey, I have a keeley CS-2 and hope somebody can give me an idea of what it is worth, I know keeley does not do these on a mass scale, but he did this one for me (he obviously wants to promote his compressor)it sounds just like his compressor and has the blue LED and keeley sticker. I have never heard of or seen any more of these before so it could be one of a kind, if not very rare. Thank you. |

It seems that Keeley will mod some other pedals that he normally wouldn't mod. I have also heard that he has modded DF-2's in the past, but i have never seen one. The CS-2 is a good compressor by itself, but a keeley modded CS-2 would be the icing on the cake!

| If it really sounds as good as his own compressor, I would imagine that if you were to sell it, you could probably get close to the price that his go for. Perhaps his design for the Keeley Compressor originated with this mod. (?) |

Hmmmm. Good theory, maybe keeley designed his compressor after the CS-2, but in the end I think he went with the ross compressor to base his compressor on. |

| Actually, I'm pretty sure you're right about the Ross thing. |

| I got to try a Ross compressor, and it's a damn fine compressor but it sounds too much like the MXR Dyna Comp, only better. But I like my CS-2 way too much to trade it in. |

Dont be surprised but the CS-2 is a very close adaption of the DynaComp/Ross circuit with the addition of a variable attack!
If you turn the attack to 8o clock you get a sound very close to a DynaComp. I like my DynaComp clone very much but I really do love my CS-2 |

I think that's why I like the CS-2 so much, it has the variable attack knob. sometimes I leave it all the way down and "overprocess" my signal, but most of the time I leave it at 8:00 or 9:00. So if the CS-2 is based on the MXR Dynacomp except for the variable attack knob, than that means that the CS-2 is exactly like the MXR Supercomp that they came out with a couple of years ago. |
