It's official, i'm gonna order a Boss TR-2 Tremolo pedal due to very high recommendations from people on this site. Thank you guys for being so responsive and answering my qeustions so quickly. i appreciate all of you! So my latest qeustion is not actually about the pedal but more like the music it is placed in. If it's not too much trouble... can anyone name some songs that feature this pedal or the tremolo effect for that matter? i am open to ANY/ALL kinds of music. thanks again!

Hi ovrdrv123

There is a very nice (official) demo video of the TR-2 & the BD-2,
both individually, & as a combination.
it's on the www.bossus.com web site, if you look around.

I belive it's also already been posted to youtube.

Just slightly off topic.
A couple of the guys here have recently bought Danelectro Chicken Salad Vibrato pedals (they are cheap too).

If you do the foil & trim pot seeing mod - you will have a killer Vib-UniVib.
It's just that the cases are from the Dano Mini pedal range
The internal electronics are pretty top notch for the $$'s as well.

Christo & Goran posted the mods & a bit of a write-up a little while back.

Laurie in his usual technical excellence, rehoused his completely into a small Hammond enclosure.
Not to mention rebuilding the 9V-4.5V mid/split rail reference, & making it true bypass.

I'll let them post the links to the topics here, unless someone beats them to it.

Oh yeah I did the mod as well, I just have to put it all back together, some rainy day.

Regards Dr. Bob

It nails Radioheads Creep sound paired with a decent chorus pedal(I use a MIJ Ce-2) and an od-3 as a clean boost. The Tr-2 wasnt the actual tremolo pedal used but it sounds brilliant nonetheless

There is a lot of Tremolo used by The Cure on many songs, but it isn't the TR-2, it's the PN-2.
