Or is this book over-priced?

It can't be that old. All the pedals on the cover (BD-2, SD-1, OD-3) are still in production. I definitely would not be paying $30+ for it.

I'll have to check once I get home, since I am at work now, but I downloaded a PDF of a similar looking book from the Boss site for free. I just can't remember if it was Volume 19, or not, but the cover looks very familiar, so $30 for the hard-copy, or the PDF for free??? FREE is my second favorite 4-letter word that begins with the letter 'F'. I guess its one of those items that separates the players from the collectors...I don't consider myself a true collector, I just get stuff I can't use all the time, or now, so thats my what my collection consists of, so I'm happy with the PDF, whereas if I was a hardcore collector, I would probably want the hard copy.

UPDATE!!!!
If you are interested in the book mentioned above, but not the $30 price tag, a PDF version of the book is available for free through Boss at: http://bossus.com/index.asp?pg=4&tmp=6

I knew that book looked familiar....

the guitar shop in my town is giving those exact ones out for free. they only give info on current production pedals. similar to those pamphlets you get with new pedals, but a little more in depth. although, i wouldnt pay 5 bucks for the thing.

Oh, wait -- I didn't look closely enough... I thought that this was a bound, published book of some sort. Now I see it. My bad.

It is bound, but here's what makes me laugh upon re-reading the listing myself This auction is for one rare Boss Guitar Effects pedal Guide. It is about 80 pages. It measures 5" x 5".

This book is only rare if you cannot get the PDF version downloaded, or if you do not have a Boss-authorized dealer nearby....

So I have decided to ask the seller why he is asking $30 for something that is available for free on the internet or at most authorized Boss dealers...I will post the response I get, if I get one that is....
