| I just put a set In my fender Twin 12Ax7 they sound so sweet, better then the Mullard reissue's I just put in. Also a set of JJ's 12at7 work great a good combo. |

| I tend to prefer the Mullard reissues over the Tung-Sols and JJ's. The Mullards have a rounder, warmer tone to me. |

Shermock; New Sensor, a U.S. company, acquired the Brand rights to Tung-Sol and Mullard and are producing tubes in a Russian plant. The theory is that the New Sensor people are making sure that quality control efforts are producing good product. You can buy them from a number of on line tube dealers. Just Google New Sensor, Mullard or Tung-Sol and you'll easily locate some of these dealers. |

New Sensor is (part or parent of) Electro Harmonix, AFAIK.
The Mullard re-issues from Groove were made in China. I don't know if they're still selling those.. |

| Right, I think the Electro Harmonix, Tung-Sol and Mullard brands are all made in the same factory. Different designs, though. I don't know if Groove Tubes is still selling their Mullard re-issues either. Who knows what will happen now that Fender owns them. |

| No problem Shermock. I just noticed you're in Sweden. Hopefully there are some European dealers out there. Does anyone know of a U.S. tube dealer who will ship overseas? |

| Great article. Maybe there's still hope for decent quality modern production tubes at a reasonable cost. |
