This one sold for significantly less than more recent ones, despite it was the only one on Ebay at the time, and there hasn't been one on Ebay at all lately.
That's a very good price for an SP-1. I'm surpised it didn't sell for a higher price. The label can easily be replaced with the same as the original one from a $30 NF-1. Maybe it would be annoying knowing that it wasn't 100% original it would be as close as possible.
yeah, I considered buying it, but I wasn't sure what the original label looks like, and if it could have been replaced. It would be annoying knowing the label wasn't original, especially since I see this pedal as almost purely a collectors item, I can't imagine this kind of effect finding a permanent place on my pedal board.
Also if I was the seller, I probably would have replaced the label with one off an NF-1 if I knew that was the same type of label. I mean last one I saw that sold before this one was up closer to $500
im pretty sure the only reason people would buy this pedal is for collecting. if its missing a label, the buyer isnt get ALL of the pedal from a collectors point of view..
unless people regularly pay $500 for a one band EQ...
